Due to its low emissions, manual Yaris models attract the maximum five-star rating on the Federal Government’s Green Vehicle Guide – the only five-seat car in its segment to achieve the top rating. On the occasion of the DTM race in Shanghai, Audi presented the Concept of a GT4 car based on the Audi TT. The TT, developed by the Technical Development and the Production divisions plus quattro GmbH, is intended to extend Audi’s new modular Customer Sport program from 2012 forward.
With the production-based TT GT4, Audi wants to offer potential Customers a base option for affordable motorsport. The vehicle’s platform is a motorsport body with a roll-over cage, a safety-optimized fuel tank box and further modifications which will be identical for all future Customer Sport versions. The Audi TT is equipped with a TFSI engine delivering about 250 kW (340 hp). The front apron, rear apron and the rear wing stem from the production Audi TT RS. The hood, doors and trunk lid are made of CFRP and the windows of plastic. The TT is fitted with a S-tronic transmission with a differential lock, a modified production suspension with adjustable dampers, plus 9.5 x 18 inch light alloy wheels.
The Audi TT GT4 is planned to sell for about 120,000 euros. Audi is not only targeting Europe but also the Asian market. The five-time Le Mans winner Frank Biela did some demo laps in the new Audi TT on the street circuit in Shanghai. Other cars that could be seen in action in Shanghai as well were the SP4T version of the TT RS and the Audi R8 LMS.

The Bentley Continental Supersports develops 621bhp, accelerates to 60mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 204mph, and yet it marks Bentley's first FlexFuel model, as it can run on both petrol and biofuel. Bentley plans to make its entire range compatible with renewable fuels by 2012.

Hennessey Performance have launched their new GTR650 package for the Nissan GT-R. The official specs say the Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R develops 662 hp at 6,500 rpm and 638 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 rpm. To get the extra horses out of the 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 engine of the Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R, the engineers at HPW used a long list of performance parts. The Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R package includes exhaust and intercooler piping from SUMO, including the stainless steel blow-off valve, and high-glow fuel injectors. The Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R also has a re-mapped ECU, obviously.
These are the standard upgrades included with the Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R. However, the performance specialist also offers a range of
optional "horsepower makers". The Hennessey GTR650 Nissan GT-R can also be equipped with an upgraded clutch, which might be useful taking into account the increased output, a SUMO electronic exhaust cutout (75 mm), a KW Variant 3 adjustable coilover suspension and others.
