Since the Geneva Motor Show is now underway, Novitec Rosso has released their latest tuning project on the Ferrari 599 GTB called the 848 RACE. Their specialists will only be creating three of these beautifully modified Ferrari 599 GTB models, which are more powerful than the previous Ferrari 599 Fiorano. The Ferrari engine alone could go without any customizations, so the guys at Novitec focused on the exterior styling first. This 848 RACE version of the Ferrari 599 features a new front spoiler lip, rear apron, rear diffuser, custom rear wing, and new rocker panels. These upgrades were installed to improve aerodynamics and cooling to the V12, which received some aftermarket parts.

When you imagine a Ferrari you definitely see a red sport car that can break 300 km/h and impress everyone on the road. Secret of BMW new sports car Gallery

BMW’s secret new sports car

BMW’s secret sports prototype is out in the open. But instead of being snapped by one of our spy photographers, the German firm has taken matters into its own hands by creating an official website aimed at revealing the progress of the project using a host of social networking tools.

The site is called dontblogaboutthis.com and features pictures hosted on Flickr and videos hosted by YouTube of a matte black prototype. The car uses the rear bodywork of the current 6-Series with the nose of the Vision EfficientDynamics concept car which debuted at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

No further information is given, apart from a note that the car is “more than a 6 Series. But the car is not yet in its final stage.”

The pictures do give away that the mule is running on narrow 195-section tyres which dramatically reduce rolling resistance, mounted on aerodynamic wheels.

The videos confirm that the car uses electric power, thanks to its silent running, but features a conventional powerplant too, which can be heard in one of the videos and is hinted at by the car’s small exhaust pipe.

The mule will be the focus of BMW’s future efficiency technology, which was previewed by the Vision EfficientDynamics concept, and will spawn a production sports car in 2012.

The concept featured a compact, 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine boosted by a 60kW electric motor at the front, and a further 38kW motor which formed part of the double clutch gearbox. Come from the cold, angular design is aimed at maximum aerodynamic efficiency and to form a stunning visual package. To render similar inspirations and far-fetched, the front reminds me of a Maserati Gran Turismo the future and behind a Nissan GT-R, but the basic idea is to highlight the originality and spectacle of the project. I would even say that it has an excellent balance between elegance and visual brutality.



The Zenvo ST1 has a classic pattern, mid-engine rear-drive over large tires and rims. The engine stay in this car is perhaps more impressive than its appearance. We speak of a 7.0-liter V8 engine, equipped with a dual turbocharger and compressor style Twin charger TSI engines from Volkswagen but only the maximum power in mind. No less than 1104 CV of muscle combined with a pair of 1,430 Nm breakneck.



By having rear-wheel drive cannot count on the lightning acceleration wheel-drive competitors but still, the 100 km / h in 3.0 seconds fall fair. The self-limited top speed is 375 km / h, I imagine that to prevent the car fly out or similar. 2011 Mustang to get new 3.7Liter V6

Finally.
The Mustang won't be using the old Explorer engine anymore. Starting next year.

It is supposed to be getting a version of the 3.7 Liter already in used in other Ford models.
It will make over 275hp. Much closer to the Camaro's 300hp V6.

This should be a really nice car. There is really no need for V8s anymore in our new "2009 over $3 a gallon world".

2010 Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI Quattro Road Test

A bigger stick for the soft-spoken supercar, and a price to match.

By making available an R8 with a monster 525-hp V-10 engine—complementing the 420-hp V-8 model that was introduced two years ago—Audi has elevated its exotic-looking two-seater from “almost-a-supercar” status to a true competitor in the high-performance realm above mere sports cars.

The 105-hp increase comes from a 5.2-liter, direct-injection V-10 that is virtually identical to the engine found in the Lambor ghini Gallardo LP560-4.

Unique engine programming and intake and exhaust systems are the chief differences in the Audi engine over the Italian job, although both engines are made in the same plant in Hungary.


We’re told that the V-10 weighs just 68 pounds more than the V-8, and that fuel economy with the bigger engine will worsen by only 1 mpg.

Crewe, England – The new Bentley Continental Convertible 2011 Super Sport will complete at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010 than last year’s Super Continental Sports Coupe debut. Bentley says his new model is the world’s fastest four-seat convertible and the fastest Bentley ever drop top. The car comes in world trade in high summer.

Continental Super Sport Convertible gets the potent twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that is rated at 621 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque.
